Whole Pastured Chicken
This is a preorder only Chicken. Pay $12 to guarantee your Liberty Farm Pastured Chicken. This is a first come first serve product. Your whole chicken “broiler” will be ready for pickup at the end of July. At pick up you will pay the remaining balance of your broilers depending on weight. the birds will be an estimated 3-6 pounds and the price will be $6 per pound. Pick up will be in Brewer tbd by whats best for schedules as the time comes closer!
Our chickens are not vaccinated or treated with antibiotics or steroids ever. Chlorophyl in the grass is God’s way of keeping these birds clean and disease free. They are moved to pasture as soon as the weather permits and no later than 4 weeks old. Summer and fall birds are moved out sooner. Here they are moved to fresh grass daily where they thrive on grass seed and bugs. We take pride in this daily move because it is integral to the health and flavor of your bird. Our birds are “beyond organic” in that they get an organic local feed but unlike many organic broilers, our chickens are outside most of their lives up until harvest.
